Horse Riding Saving Troubled Teens

Troubled teens from the crime-ridden housing estate, Moyross in Limerick, are changing their lives by learning to ride horses.
The Irish Horse Welfare Trust and the Moyross Regeneration Project have teamed up to give youths from the disadvantaged area a chance to learn horse-riding as well as obtain a FETAC qualification in stable and yard rountine.
Tiernan O’Neill, of the MRP, said: “The kids are walking taller, they are much mor confident and it has helped develop their literary skills.â€
