Burglars Beware Of Judo Black-Belts And Losing Your Trousers
Updated : Feb 23, 2009
A 25-year-old thief, from Bremen in Germany, was taken by surprise when he realised the house he had just broken into belonged to a man who was a judo black belt.
The young thief sneaked into the house and began rifling through jewellery when the 39-year-old homeowner overpowered the would-be burglar with a few deft blows and detained him until police arrived.
And yet again in Germany, a robber was caught after he escaped with his loot - but left his trousers behind. The 21-year-old criminal punched a taxi driver in the face and made to run off with his mobile phone near Cologne. However, as he turned to flee the cabbie grabbed his loose fitting trousers - which were torn free as he fled. The taxi driver then called police on a phone he borrowed from a passer-by and gave them a description of the trouser-less crook. Police successfully arrested the thief at a train station trying to board a train in his underpants.
