A €400,000 Black Labrador!

A Black Labrador who works as a sniffer dog for the Irish Customs was hailed a hero after he discovered over €400,000 of drugs in 2008. In the last 12 months “Shadow” (6) made 14 hash busts at Shannon airport beating his 2007 record of €105,880!
A customs dog unit boss said “Our detection dogs are a key element of the enforcement effort against smugglers. They have helped us intercept vast quantities of smuggled drugs, cigarettes and currency."
