Dublin’s Spire is to be cleaned again to help restore it to its former useless glory and it’s only costing €641,000. But don’t be shocked, the last time it was given a polish up, it only cost €1.1million! The millennium Spire was erected in 2003.… and erected is the proper word as it looks like a big erection in the middle of the City Centre!
Dublin City Council, tendered the job and the contract to clean the Spire was given to Lynch Interact…. who will give her a nice little scrub up! The Spire was meant to be a self cleaning pole but the self cleaning plan didn’t go to plan and it has to be cleaned manually now!
