A 23-year-old Australian traveller was stopped at customs when he was re-entering Australia after a trip to the Middle East. The custom officials were shocked when they discovered two eggs and bird seed in a tablet box in the luggage belonging to the lad. After a further body search of the man, two pigeons were also found strapped to his legs! (Why!?)
The birds and eggs were seized by the officials as they were not declared as well as a money bag the man had on him! No one understands why the 23-year-old was trying to bring the birds into the country.... Maybe he has a weird bird fetish!
