The Stig Is Revealed….. Well Maybe!

One of the biggest mysteries on television today could be solved……. The identity of Top Gear test driver The Stig can be revealed as Ben Collins.
Ben, who has raced in Formula Three, Le Mans, GT and Nascar, is said to have let slip his secret to two gallery owners in Bristol while asking them to help him produce a limited-edition print of The Stig.
One of the gallery owners, Simon Whitehead, said: “ I was absolutely amazed when he said he was The Stig, it was quite a big thing in a weird wayâ€.
Collins, of Bristol, could be in a lot of trouble if he admitted being The Stig, something he has always denied. The first Stig, stunt driver Perry McCarthy, lost his job for outing himself.
