A man who went to a Garda car impound lot in Gorey to retreive his car and then ate a fake tax disc, has been jailed for 6 months!
Two men, Domres and Edmundas Liukimas went to get their car that was taken by the Gardai, but when the garda brought the men to the car, one man pinned the Garda to the car while the other man ate the fake tax disc, which would have been used as evidence in court against them.
Luikimas, who pinned the Garda to the car, was jailed for 6 months as he has a number of previous convictions for assault and Domres, who had a clean record was jailed for 3 months.
