Figures Show The Irish Love The Zoo!!
Updated : Jan 15, 2009
Even though it rained for about 400 days last year, figures show that over 26,000 more people visited Dublin Zoo than in 2007, to make it a record year with an outstanding 931,866 people going to see weird and wonderful creatures from around the world.
Dublin’s Zoo boss man Leo Ooserweghel said these figures are amazing, especially since in 2006 there were less than 700,000 visits to the Zoo.
Even though every adult says the only reason they go to the zoo is to 'bring the kids', most adults actually want to go and hope to see two monkeys humping or a gorilla fight as a bonus!
VeryHappyPig says it's much cheaper to go see Piggy’s and much more entertaing, it's like watching live rashers rolling around in shi*te, how could it get any better!
