Irish Open Returns To Co. Louth!

The Irish Open will return to the beautiful settings of County Louth Golf Club, Baltray from the 14th to 17th of May this Summer..... after 5 years away.
Designed in 1938 by Tom Simpson, the championship links at County Louth hosted the Irish Open only once before in 2004.
Twice Open and currently US PGA Champion Padraig Harrington said: "I'm delighted to hear that The Irish Open is returning to Baltray. It is certainly one of the most exciting courses in the country and one I enjoyed playing in 2004. I look forward to the tournament being great and taking home the Irish crown."
The 2009 Irish open will attract the world's top players and will be televised in all corners of the globe bringing huge tourism into the local economy.
