A new breed of Irish musican has wow'ed Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb and picked up a record deal after seeing off over 3500 hopeful songwriters in the Val4stars songwriting competition in the UK with his tribute to the legendary Luke Kelly song "Da Rocket man".
Barry Tierney, 19 from Cork has done us all proud performing in front of over 250 music industry professionals.
