Ballymun's €800m and 10,500 Jobs!

Planning permission has been granted for an €800 million retail project in Ballymun town centre in Dublin.
In a press statement released last evening, Treasury of the project said it hoped the construction phase would start on the 5.9 hectare site in 2009 during which time 2,000 jobs will be created!
The developer said it expects that 8,500 direct and indirect jobs will be created once the development is complete in 2012.
Niall Kavanagh, director of development at Treasury Holdings Ireland said, “We recognise how important the regeneration of Ballymun is to Dublin City and are delighted with today’s project news as it means we can now move forward with the retail city".
