Ireland's Real Hero, Our Girl Of 2008.
Updated : Dec 20, 2008
Nicole Cahill’s family is smiling again this Christmas, as ten-year-old Nicole is walking on Irish soil for the very first time in four years.
Nicole was struck by a virus that left her paralyzed at the age of six. She’s spent the last six months in New York undergoing rehabilitation, and learning to walk.
Nicole’s mother hopes for an active and happy Christmas for her daughter. Nicole’s physio suggested a Wii Fit for Christmas, telling her that it would be great for her balance exercises. Hopefully, Santa’s reading this and brings Nicole health and maybe even that Wii.
Very Happy Pig wishes Nicole and her Family the very best for Christmas and we know it will be a great new year for the whole Family..
