Government Use Their Heads And Ideas From The Ideas Campaign
Updated : Jul 27, 2009
The founder of the Ideas Campaign has said she expects groups other than the Government to adopt some of its suggestions.
The campaign, was set up in response to the recession, resulted in more than 5,000 ideas which have been condensed to a shortlist of 44.
The Government claims it is implementing half of these including the creation of a volunteer corps, the use of generic drugs and allowing the public service carry forward unspent funds from one year to the next.
Aileen O'Toole, who set up the campaign, has said she is optimistic the ideas will become reality
