Roll In The Hay World Championships!

Ireland will its and possibly the world first ever Roll in The Hay championships next Sunday.
It’s a practice that has been both enjoyed and mastered for centuries, but for the first time couples will get more than the obvious pleasure, potential off spring and straw in their underwear from their hay rolling antics. Next Sunday in Trim, CO Meath one lucky pair will receive a Roll in The Hay crown and a weekend break in an esteemed hotel-were they can roll around in more comfortable surrounding!!
“A lovely mound of hay on a slope has been crafted†and an “esteemed†set of judges will study the capabilities of each pair before crowning a winner.
The event is part of the Trim Haymaking Festival which also has such competitions as the Donkey Derby, The Goat Show and Hay Sheath Throwing Championships!
