Countdown Carol Says Goodbye After 4750 Shows

Carol Vorderman yesterday recorded her last Countdown show after 26 years and a amazing 4750 shows. The countdown stunner left in tears yesterday after hanging up her chunky black marker.
Carol, 47, who made her debut on the hit gameshow in 1982, said that she thanks everyone and it's been a privilege to work on the show and she will miss everyone. She will be replaced by a Oxford Gradute Rachel Riley, 22, and new host Jeff Stelling. We'll all miss Carol!
