No More F Word For Lowry!

Golf sensation Shane Lowry has been warned to tone down his language after microphones picked up his swear words during his recent sensational win of the Irish Open.
Now that he has decided to turn professional, the young Offaly man has to abide by a strict code of conduct where he would face hefty fines for inappropriate comments according to the Evening Herlad!
Shane was clearly heard to use the F-word on a couple of occasions after playing his second shot at the 8th hole at Baltray last Sunday.
Once he announced his decision to turn professional, European Tour director David Garland spoke to Lowry's new manager, Conor Ridge, CEO of Horizon Sports Management, over the golfer's language.
The European Tour has hauled players like the great Seve Ballesteros before the players committee. Ballesteros is believed to have been fined more than €5,000 for an outburst.
World number one Tiger Woods has also been fined by the US Tour for his colourful language.
Mr Garland made it clear that he did not wish to take away from Shane's success and it was just a reminder to the golfer to be aware of the microphones.
"I've asked Conor to advise Shane to be aware of the presence of boom microphones on the golf course at tournaments.
"I also pointed out, as gently as possible, that as a member of the European Tour, he's now subject to the General Members Regulations Guidelines, which all members sign up to when they join.
"But we don't want it to diminish in any way from a fantastic achievement by Shane and a truly wonderful occasion at Baltray," he said.
"So now he's decided to join the Tour and take up his category, we wish him every success in future. He's an exciting addition on the Tour and we wish him every success."
