Current Financial Crisis Can't Keep Irish Down

VeryHappyPig can reveal people are still travelling despite all the doom and gloom surrounding the current climate.

Passenger numbers on Aer Lingus flights were up 11% last month compared to the same period last year, according to the latest figures from the airline.

A total of 945,000 passengers used the airline during April.

Passenger numbers on short-haul flights were up 13%, but demand for long-haul flights was down 5.8%.
