An Irish-Italian family were hailing a superhero dog back in their homeland after the family pet saved relatives for the A’quila Earthquake.
Three members of the Muscedere family, a family which owns Dublin restaurant, fled unhurt from there house just 20 miles from the quakes centre after the family dog alerted them to the danger.
The pet began barking frantically at three o’clock on the morning of the earthquake waking the sleeping family of three and upon feeling tremors they fled to safety.
Meanwhile, in more good news from Italy a 98-year-old woman survived 30 hours buried in the Earthquakes rubble.
Even more amazing is the fact that Maria D’Antuono, who was pulled from her flattened home on Tuesday, revealed she spent most of the 30 hours, not panicking, but knitting.
