Easter Relief For Parents Thanks To GAA Museum

Updated : Apr 6, 2009

Parents of school children looking for something to occupy energetic kids during the upcoming Easter holidays will be relieved that to know that the GAA Museum has plenty in store for kids of all ages.

The Cadbury’s ‘eggstravaganza’ kicks off events on Sunday, April 12th. This is an ‘eggstra’ special Croke Park tour where young visitors to the museum will have to look for clues to the secret location of yummy Easter eggs.

From Monday 13th onwards and throughout the week, visitors will have to have their wits about them as their tour guide might be telling lies. Come along on the ‘telling tall tales tour’ and see if you can tell when the guides are telling porkies or when they are actually telling the truth.

All public tours of the stadium during Easter Week will remember the events of the 1916 Rising. Tours will follow the normal route however special attention will be given to the connections between the GAA and the independence struggle in Ireland.

Booking for all activities is essential.
