Rescued Blind Dog!

Firemen were alerted to an emergency when a Collie cross dog fell down a drain near Darlington in the UK.
Firemen also found out that the dog was blind. One fireman lowered himself eight feet down into the drain in order to rescue the frightened doggy.
A fire brigade spokesman said that the dog’s owner often takes him for walks on that stretch of the road, but a cover had gone missing off of the drain, leaving the dog suceptible to falling in. “It was quite an old dog but it was alright- just a bit shocked. He will live to walk into a drain again!"
